As the artist, my main objective was to create an image only using triangles. For this project, I used the polygonal lasso tool, which allowed me to select triangles. Another very helpful tool that I used was the actions tool. the action that I created took average color of the what I selected, then it copied and pasted it onto a new layer. The advantages of using Photoshop Actions is allowed me to easily and efficiently create my triangle. To create more detail in the facial features, I used much smaller triangles. Using different sized triangles allowed me to show contrast in the facial features and other parts of the body. Some challenges I faced were trying to do the very detailed eyes and trying to get the hair to flow in the right direction. Since Maddie had a very symmetrical face, it allowed me to only do one half of her face, and then copy it to the other side.
